Just an observation about our history and its possible bearing on our new venture. Madison is considered to be the father of the constitution since he formulated the first draft. And he also formulated the draft of the Bill of Rights. For those reasons – since many of us would like to see a more basic constitutional form of government without all the unnecessary complexities – I chose Madison as a possible state name. He also collaborated heavily with Thomas Jefferson on these matters. Thus Madison seems like a logical alternative to Jefferson. Just my thoughts.
