SOJ will never join Cal Exit because Cal Exit are nothing but liars who want their own autonomy from the US Constitution because it is a barrier from the dictatorial gov’t that the current Cal. Gov’t wants to be. Wake up people!!!
also even if Cal Exit movement gets enough signatures and the CA legislature approves separation, the US Congress will NEVER vote to allow it. CAL has too many vital resources (including people) and its military strategic location is obvious.
I guess Tom get’s my thinking, that is what i meant too Tom I wonder if they would join us? Well we shall see what will happen in Nov. It may not happen in my life time but you never know what the future holds for CA.
There are those with inflated egos to be sure, and some of those were addressed at the meeting at Glad Tidings yesterday. I had sincerely hoped to have more CCR folks there to discuss the differences in the SOJ and the CCR as it appeared, at least to me, that the few that did eventually speak to some of the issues were blindsided by some things. As for joining the CCR, the consensus from the meeting would probably be a resounding “no” right now. But there are those who were at the meeting with lots and lots of questions.
I apologize, my Aunt was very sick and admitted to Queen of the Valley. I have been out of town since my mother came up from Los Angeles. I wish the meeting would have been a positive one for everyone.
Thanks for your report of the Live Oak Meeting and in your honesty in your introductory note of where you stand regarding the CCR. I used to be on BaseCamp myself, was supportive of things I thought good, put some ideas out there, and never trashed anyone. But got kicked off of BaseCamp for being associated with CCR. I told Dianne when she informed me of her decision, it is Jefferson Formation’s loss to silence members of the loyal opposition. I hope to heck that never happens here.
You are most welcome. I’ve always thought that honesty is the best policy, and I don’t have anything to hide. Everyone gets the same report and the same opinion. It keeps life a lot easier! As far as basecamp, I’m not sure how I feel about what is going on there, but now that I am aware it is privately funded and not by Jefferson I don’t believe that I have any right to say that it should be run differently (at least until SOJ takes on the cost). It’s a sticky wicket to be sure, but we definitely need to address the talent of even those we don’t agree with all the time.
I was notified that there were some comments posted, but I don’t see them so I assume that they have been removed. For those who don’t know me [and that’s ok! I’ve been a bit out of it since my son was born last year—babies take up a lot of time 🙂 ] … I am BEST KNOWN as “the Mouse” which is why I rarely use my real name, but my name is Kayla Brown. When I was on the radio I was known as the Mouse and most of the people throughout the northstate don’t know who “Kayla” is so I find it easier to be the Mouse. It’s not a cowardly thing in the least.

I think rank-and-file supporters will see the light but others will continue to be blinded by their own inflated egos.
