A year has gone since 200 people representing 23 counties declared independence from California on the west steps of the Capitol. Since then, counties have backed out, either by ballot vote or actions by County Board of Supervisors. Steve Baird was not elected to the Senate as the lone candidate running on the Jefferson platform. Leaders of individual counties disagree with the central planners about the best way to push forward.
Our movement seems stalled.
Meanwhile, People unhappy about the Presidential Election are proposing splitting the state off to become it’s own nation. They appear better funded and organized than our group, which is focused on raising 20k of $1,000,000 needed for our date in Federal Court.
How do you feel about the state of our movement and what should we do to become relevant again?
