Press Release for Mendocino County for New California committee

At our monthly Mendocino County for State of Jefferson meeting, the committee voted to disband the “Mendocino County for State of Jefferson” committee (10 votes Yea, 1 vote No) and reform as the “Mendocino County for New California” committee (Unanimous). This vote was held after a presentation on “New California” by Paul Preston and Bob Patterson. All questions were answered about why we should do this and the case was made for doing so. The mission is the same, a new state! The scope has grown and the reality of this happening is much closer. Together we CAN succeed. A new state where our children can stay, make a living and raise a family. A new state where rural counties have a say. A new state with a clean slate.
