Just posted the conclusion to this article, follow the link for the whole thing. This whole concept is pretty far fetched, but perhaps should be watched to see if it does really play out. I do remember that Henry Kissinger said “Food control is people control”. Comments?

China’s Moving to Control California’s Food Supply- Famine Coming to the US- Part of CalExit Plot

      Conclusion

In summary, California is on the path to becoming its own nation controlled by the United Nations. California Governor, Jerry Brown, is leading the way. After CalExit, the UN will assume control over California. The food interests of California will be controlled by the Chinese. America is already facing serious food shortages due to the mass departure of farmers from the profession. This will plunge America in to a great famine. Even if Trump survives to become President, be faced with the most serious constitutional crisis since 1861, an economic collapse will be underway led by escalating food prices and America will face a famine.

Leftist Progressives have historically used whatever means are at their disposal to control large populations. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and the NK despots have and are doing this. I suspect this is what is also going on in Venezuela. Chavez basically killed much of the ag industry there choosing to import foods from his buddies in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. Now that country has no money to pay for imports and the people spend the bulk of their day in food lines, where they can’t be causing a ruckus. The Leftist Progressives have been waging a war on ag for decades. They have stood in the way of constructing the San Luis Drain which was originally part of the California Water Project to remove trace (and natural) amounts of salts from the San Joaquin Valley Westside….hence Kesterson Natural Wildlife Area which is an ecological disaster. They restrict water use for irrigation in favor of fish and metropolitan areas. They are anti any technological advances which produce foods productively and efficiently.
As far as I am concerned the Bay Area and LA Basin can leave the country and we will be happy to provide them food which meets their specifications (at a cost, of course!)
