First of all, not many folks know me but I have given Paul Preston some “citizen journalist” info. that he has used and I have been involved in the current SOJ movement for about 3 years. I am a true conservative and believe in purely Constitutional federal, state, and local forms of government. I know that just reading someone’s thoughts are only a skimming of the surface of what that person’s motivations could be, so I understand skepticism.

While I am not all knowing (no one is), in my short 48 years on this planet and working as a police officer, firefighter, and 20 years in the Navy, I have come to be a decent judge of character.

I too don’t want to move out of CA and give up this pristine land to the socialist-globalist agenda. I would rather fight for what is right, lawful, just, and moral. I would rather show my son that good fighting evil is a life-long journey for some of us. I have been fighting crooked and unethical behavior from my superiors since I joined the Navy at 20 years old. I currently am fighting unethical behavior from my management at Cal Fire and fighting my union because, like many unions, it has lost its way and purpose.

Both the CCR and SOJ movements have admitted desires to split from the Communist California government that we all are suffering under. I have little knowledge of the CCR movement and the people who are involved in it. Their efforts to use a “Constitutional” process to attain a new state appear valid.

I have gotten to know the SOJ folks over the last 3 years. I speak to them in formal meetings and informal gatherings. I listen to their radio shows, to the conference calls, ask questions, and get answers. I have the utmost respect for their honesty, integrity, tenacity, and sincerity in fighting for a return to Constitutional form of government. If SOJ wins the lawsuit, then the power and force of the Court can be used to back the will of the people.

For the CCR, the question is this: when the CCR gets its “Charters and Declaration of Independence”, what then? Do they walk into the state Capitol and “serve” our current government leaders and ask them to politely walk out of the building? Short of an armed coup or conflict, what is the plan to “take back” our government? This is a serious question in which an immediate answer is unavoidable.

History shows that people in power rarely voluntarily give it up without a fight. A fight of this magnitude undoubtedly will involve resistance, of what level one can only guess.
Unfortunately, most officials in California (elected, appointed, and employed) are ignorant to what a Constitutional government should be. Because of that they will follow orders and resist a movement for a new state. Some of us must be willing to be arrested for not complying with a government that unlawfully tries to stop the will of the people as allowed by the US Constitution.

Recently someone named Dave Hodges has been slinging lots of mud. Even if his “connections” are true, I have not seen any evidence of them interfering with the SOJ movement. Maybe this Dave guy is getting paid by Soros to subvert the SOJ and CCR movement? Dave says on his show that he supports the “Jefferson” movement and claims to have been involved with it in the past. How far did he get in the past, huh? What efforts besides talking on the radio is he making towards affirmatively changing the status quo in government. Has anyone looked into him and his connections?

The Soro’s funded puppets only want to insert their “seeds of doubt” into both the CCR and the SOJ movements. They are disrupting because they see both movements as threats. If we are not smart enough to see that the evil socialists are only attempting to “divide and conquer” our efforts, then we deserve what we get.

A recent comment I heard on the radio was similar to “The SOJ movement has done very little in the last couple of years. They have committees and they have done little also.” Does anyone remember that the socialist progressives have been taking over for about 150 years. Does anyone think that it will take 4 years to turn that around?

We have one thing to thank Mr. Obama for. I will not call him Pres…., in fact, his electronic signature is on my military retirement certificate which makes it worthless. Mr. Obama, through his overstepping and overreaching socialist tyrannical ways, has made the current SOJ and CCR movements more viable than ever! The momentum is as strong as ever and surely this is the only chance in our lifetimes to make things happen.

Let us fight this fight so our kids don’t have to. What a gift you can give to your posterity by sacrificing your time, money, and efforts now in order for them to have more liberty, justice, freedom, and happiness than we do. It makes me sad to think we have to have this war, not battle. It makes me more angry and determined.

If a new state happens, there will be many safeguards to keep the elected, appointed, and employed officials from usurping the US and State Constitution. In fact, there will be financial and criminal penalties for doing so. If we only get appropriate representation, well then our voices will again be heard in Sacramento and by extension in Washington DC.

Why can’t SOJ and CCR use the “divide and conquer” tactic against the socialist progressive globalists? Let us all stop following the bouncing ball and keep focused. Maybe SOJ and CCR can meet at the finish line and shake hands for a job well done.
